After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2018, Macey Hampton Horst completed hundreds of stages and design projects in Houston and Austin. She specializes in staging, residential design, Airbnb design, commercial design, furnishing, and remodel sales, which includes hard surfaces, flooring, and countertop.
Macey followed in her mother, Tera Hampton’s, footsteps and joined Sensible Redesign in 2017. Being around her mother and watching her business grow, Macey developed a passion for design and was natural at it. She moved to Houston in 2020, established a Sensible Redesign branch there, and took over the Austin branch in 2021.
Today, Macey lends her talent to Sensible Redesign as the Owner and Lead Designer.
Shelby Blocker
Based out of Houston, Shelby Blocker is an interior decorator specializing in residential and commercial design, staging, and Airbnb design. She became a part of the Sensible Redesign team in 2022.
Before joining the company, Shelby worked for the DIY Network doing set design for the channel’s Texas Flip N Move. After that, she worked as a furnishing consultant for Houston-based High Fashion Home.
Shelby’s passion is using her artistic talents to help others design their dream spaces.
Tera Hampton
Tera Hampton laid the foundation of Sensible Redesign in Austin in 2010. What started as a hobby and passion for design quickly turned into a business as more and more people heard about and saw her work.
Tera has completed hundreds of staging and design projects across Texas and was featured on HGTV’s Design Star in 2010. She serves as the Lead Designer of the Austin, TX branch and has handed the company down to her middle daughter, Macey.
Tera specializes in staging, home remodeling, and commercial and residential design.
